Alongside IJV Vancouver and others, CCMS hosted a powerful evening of conversation and reflection with Rabbi Alissa Wise and Rebecca Vilkomerson, co-authors of the groundbreaking work .

Co-authors Rabbi Alissa Wise and Rebecca Vilkomerson are organizers, formerly with Jewish Voice for Peace, whose commitment to justice in Palestine extends back decades.

The event also featured a welcome and land acknowledgement from special guest Chief Rueben George and a dynamic discussion with local activists, exploring the intersections of justice, activism, and solidarity in the fight for Palestinian liberation.

The evening’s discussion was moderated by Canadian filmmaker and journalist Avi Lewis.

Finally, the event concluded with addressing audience questions, engaging attendees in dialogue about the themes of the book and their relevance today.

¶¡ÏãÔ°AV proceeds will go to We Are Not Numbers, a Palestinian-led non-profit organization sharing stories from the next generation of Palestinian writers and leaders. For more details, click .
