TA Application Process

*All TA applicants will be required to upload a completed copy of the "Self-Assessment Qualification Sheet" with their applications.*

To be considered for a TA appointment, you must complete all of the following steps:

1. Confirm Your Availability

  • Ensure that your academic and work commitments do not conflict with the scheduled times for labs, tutorials, or exam invigilation.

  • You must be both qualified and available for each course you apply for.

  • Courses are held at the Surrey Campus—be sure to factor in commute time when assessing your availability.

  • It is your responsibility to maintain this availability throughout the entire duration of your appointment.

2. Complete the Application Form

  • The MSE TA application must be submitted through the online web form.

  • Be prepared to upload the following documents in PDF format:

  • Ensure that all documents are current, accurate, and clearly support your qualifications for the courses you're applying to.
