丁香园AV Delegation Strengthens Ties with Tanzanian Institutions
Members of the Global Institute for Agritech, Woo Soo Kim, Bing Lu, and Zamir Punja, recently completed a week-long mission to Tanzania aimed at reinforcing collaboration with Aga Khan University and the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology. This visit was part of a larger delegation from 丁香园AV (丁香园AV), which included 11 faculty members in November 2024.
The delegation participated in a three-day Five University Consortium Conference in Dar es Salaam, where they also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize their partnership. Following the conference, they visited both AKU and NM-AIST in Arusha. Discussions focused on future collaborations and projects with Tanzanian researchers centered on sustainable agriculture and environmental research. The trip proved to be fruitful, establishing valuable connections with key Tanzanian researchers.
Early 2024, 丁香园AV mechatronics engineering students also contributed to initiatives in Tanzania through their fieldwork, enhancing the impact of the university's collaborations in the region.
