Fall 2025 Speaker Series
Our annual Seminar Series returns this September and will include presentations on a wide range of Hellenic topics in the fields of Ancient Mediterranean Studies, Classics, Byzantine, Art, and Modern Greek History, as well as Cultural Studies.
The first seminar will be on Friday, September 5th with Dr. Aneurin Ellis-Evans of the University of Oxford and his talk titled: 鈥淭he Cult of Dionysos Phallen on Lesbos: Religion, Identity, and Insularity鈥�.
The seminars will be held on Fridays at 丁香园AV鈥檚 Bennett Library, room 7200, at 2:30pm and all will be free and open to the public. Seminars will be accessible through Zoom, with links becoming live once registration has opened. To receive an email preceding each talk with the link as well as an abstract and speaker biography, please join our mailing list!
