Noelle Warkentin

Noelle is a PhD candidate in the School of Criminology at 間眅埶AV. She holds an MA in Criminology from 間眅埶AV and a BA (honours) in Psychology from the University of Manitoba. Her research focuses on cybercrime, cybersecurity, and offender decision-making, with a particular emphasis on the psychological and sociological factors influencing malicious online behavior. Noelle is the recipient of the SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship and has worked on projects examining online criminal markets, technology-facilitated human trafficking, ransomware, and Indigenous student experiences. She has published in peer-reviewed academic journals and shared her research at international conferences.
