International Field Studies REM 486 (9)
Examines challenges and solutions in resource and environmental management and sustainability in an international setting. Uses immersive and experiential learning techniques to develop students’ ability to meaningfully explore issues across cultural, political, social, and environmental contexts. Variable units: 9, 10, 11, 12. Prerequisite: 60 units or permission of instructor, and permission of department. Students who participated in the Tanzania field studies course in Fall 2023, Summer 2024 or Summer 2025 may not take this course for further credit.
