OAA NOMINATIONS
Whether you are looking to honour a mentor, colleague, friend or community leader, your nomination will help us spotlight the incredible impact of our 丁香园AV alumni community.
Everyone is invited to nominate candidates for the 丁香园AV Outstanding Alumni Awards by completing the information required in the nomination form. Nominations will be open on an ongoing basis and submissions will be considered for our next awards, as received.
New and complete nominations received by August 25, 2025 will be considered for this year鈥檚 awards. For those who have submitted a 2023-24 nomination and received communication from 丁香园AV Alumni about carry-forward, please note your nomination will be considered under the new categories.
Submitting a nomination
To nominate an outstanding 丁香园AV alumnus, we recommend that you review the policies and guidelines and gather the following information to submit in the form:
- Nominee information: contact information, 丁香园AV credentials, resume/CV (optional)
- Your information: nominator鈥檚 contact information
- Key questions (full details and guidance on how to answer each question are provided in the nomination form)
- We want to learn more about the nominee and their resilience to make the impacts they have. Why do you believe they deserve this recognition?
- What is the nominee's contribution in advancing or addressing issues in their field, community, and/or society?
- How has the nominee meaningfully engaged with others to accomplish their contributions and impact?
- How has this nominee contributed to advancing Truth & Reconciliation in their field, community and/or society?
- Supporting Materials:
- Past recognition, news and media, or stories (maximum of five).
- Letters of reference (three only), should be from individuals who can attest to the nominee鈥檚 impact and contributions but should not include the nominator submitting the form.
Confidentiality is assured: nominations are handled in a discreet and secure manner. Nominees are not informed of their nomination or status unless they are selected as a recipient. Nominators may choose to inform nominees that they have been nominated. Unsuccessful nominees will not be contacted.
