¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Beedie Academic Advisors are here to support you from your first day to graduation. We help you plan your academic journey, navigate challenges, and make informed decisions that align with your goals. Our team provides a confidential and safe space where you can discuss your academic concerns and work with us to create personalized, achievable plans for success. Whether you're adjusting to university life, progressing in your degree, or preparing for graduation, we are here to guide you through every milestone.

Drop-In Advising
Best suited for questions related to: Enrolment & Waitlist, Course Planning, Program Requirements.
Regular hours
- Mondays 1:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.
In-person
- Tuesdays 1:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m. (¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Surrey SRY 5000)
- Wednesdays 1:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m. (¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Burnaby WMC 2330)
Peak periods
First three weeks of the term and during the enrolment period.
- Mondays 1:00 p.m.–3:30 p.m.
- Fridays 9:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
In-Person
- Tuesdays 1:00 p.m.–3:30 p.m. (¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Surrey SRY 5000)
- Wednesdays 1:00 p.m.–3:30 p.m. (¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Burnaby WMC 2330)
- Operation hours are in Pacific Standard Time (PST).
- Please note that our office is closed on statutory holidays and when the university is closed.

Academic Success Planning appointment
Please note that peak periods are the first three weeks of the term and during the enrolment period.
Beedie Success Program: Students who have received notification regarding their Business GPA are invited to book a confidential one-on-one Academic Success Planning appointment by logging into AdvisorLink.

What to expect from your advisor
Your academic advisor is someone who will:
- Understand your needs to support you best
- Collaborate with you to set goals and develop plans to achieve them
- Help you understand and navigate your program requirements and academic policies
- Provide you with resources and referrals to on-campus service
What we expect from you
When preparing for your advising appointments, you should:
- Learn about the Business program’s degree requirements
- Prepare questions and materials for discussion
- Review
- Bring a copy of your Academic Plan (if you have completed BUS 203|300)
When attending your advising appointment, you should:
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment
- Ask for clarification if an issue is unclear or not understood
- Take notes
- Follow up with your advisor if necessary
