MAP National 2025

On June 9-11, in Québec City, the Mobility, Accessibility and Participation (MAP) team met for ¸éé³Ü²Ô¾±´Ç²Ô&²Ô²ú²õ±è;±·²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô²¹±ô±ð&²Ô²ú²õ±è;²Ñ´¡±Ê&²Ô²ú²õ±è;2025. The event took place at Parc de la Pointe-aux-Lièvres and brought together researchers, community partners, and stakeholders invested in issues of 

MAP research is a collaboration of academic researchers, community organizations, and municipalities across three provinces (Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia) working on research questions aimed at creating accessible communities. Inclusive Environments team at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV, presented their work on MAP-SWAN, the Stakeholders’ Walkability/Wheelability Audit in Neighborhoods, a community-engaged project that empowers older adults and people with disabilities to evaluate the accessibility of their neighborhoods and advocate for more inclusive public spaces.
